001 RULES

01 general

Respect - it's the number one thing to keep in mind with everything you do. If you respect other people, they'll respect you. Simple as that. Plus, staff and members don't want to deal with disrespectful people.


This site is rated PG-13 - This is not our rule but a proboards rule! That means swearing, violence, sex and drug references may be used, but keep in mind your audience. If you need to go into further detail, don't - and again, be respectful. Please do not post anything that you think will make others feel uncomfortable.

Listen - sure, an uncommon rule, but if you listen, you will have more fun here at RA. This rule will help you better understand the ongoing, concepts and fellow members here on the site and ensure you have a great time

Ask Questions - Honestly, things make sense in my head but doesn't always makes sense in the real world. Please don't be afraid to ask questions =)

02 role playing

Godmodding/power playing - just don't do it. Simple as that. You're here to play your character, not dictate what is happening in everyone else's life. For example. if your character decides to throw a punch at someone, say just that. You don't automatically hit your target - the success of the punch is up for the other character to decide. And again, please be realistic. No average person can dodge every punch.

Word Count - we do ask that all members post at LEAST 250 words. We understand everyone has off days but posting under this requirement frequently can lead to a warning. Now, please use role play etiquette . That is, do not respond with 250 word post if the other person posted 1000 words!

Real Life Face Claims - we ask that everyone uses real life face claims only! If you need help finding a face claim, please PM me and I will gladly help you out =) Be sure to check the 'Face Claim' to make sure that you do not use the same character as someone else. If you want to use a taken face claim, just PM the member and ask if they need a twin. Please note that we would only like celebrities and not you as a face claim!

One Account per Character - this is too keep the site organized and avoid confusion. This may sound straightforward, but you might be surprised...

Liquid Time - There is modified liquid time on this site! You character can be in a maximum of two threads at one time (this includes an event thread). Your characters can only be in one event thread at a time.

Time Stamps - we do ask that you use a time stamp in the first post of a thread. This is to kind of keep a timeline for your character so if they are awakened in an event thread their normal threads that take place before then will not be affected. A code for time stamps will appear at the bottom of this long list of rules!

Civilians - all characters start off a civilians. Period. This is because when/if you are awakened your character will only know certain things and make it more random and interesting. You do get some choice as to who they awaken to be but remember that Fate plays a big part in awakening characters. Please don't ask to be a certain canon!

Your Name - We ask that you register with your characters first name. This makes it easier to PM you since we don't have to try and find your actual username. We also ask that you make your display name; FIRST LAST. That means all capitals your characters first name then their last name! Thank you!

03 graphics

Avatars - please make your icons 150px by 225px. If you need help finding an image that fits this, please PM a staff member. We cannot accept your characters until you have an avatar of the appropriate size.

Signatures - you don't HAVE to have a signature but if you choose to make one it MUST be 500px by 250px. We also want them to be attractive looking so please no eyesores! Feel free to ask around for someone to make you a signature!

Templates - templates are more than welcome and are definitely encouraged as it is a way for you to show off your character. If you don't like using templates you don't have to! If you want to know some sites with some great templates, please feel free to talk to your fellow members.

Credit - CREDIT EVERYONE! Don't change credit lines without permission.

04 OOC

Respect - again respect is a big thing! I know this was already a rule but I thought I would bring it up again.

In Posts - in posts there is no OOC unless it is at the end of a post. It is up to you but it MUST be clear that it is OOC. This can be done with Notes: or even OOC:

05 C-box

Spamming/Advertising - There is No Spamming or advertising in the C box! There is zero tolerance for this!

Guests - they are welcome, so please make them feel welcome!

06 timestamp

DATE - Month, and number would be great!
TIME - You don't have to be super specific but kind of give a rough idea
WEATHER - Give as many details as you want
