There were few things that got Vintage into a crappy mood but the weather was a major issue for him. He partly didn't know why he lived in New York, he seriously questioned it. It was only in the upper part of the U.S.A and Canada that could get snow in September but here he was walking to his first class of his third year and he was watching as snow fell to the ground, thank god it melted right away. Ugh, he really hated crappy weather.
When he got to his first class he found a seat near the furthest and highest side of the room. Class was entertaining, he actually got a comedian for a teacher who liked to keep the class fun, and the down fall to this was that class seemed to end sooner. His class was three hours but before he knew it he was walking into the cafe for a four hour wait for his next class. He grabbed a drink and a poutine before finding a place and making himself comfortable for his wait.
He watched the student life around him, everyone was buzzing and excited for the new year of classes, of course some of the students were not. He loved people watching because it made him forget about his life. He was not depressed with his own life, no, he was just bored with it because he was in some dire need of excitement. He really didn’t do anything other than school and work and both were starting to bore him. Nearing footsteps broke him out of his mental babble and he looked up at the new comer.

She had to admit that the elderly man had quite the valor with being able to continue to preach his lessons at a group of young adults that seemed to refuse to show any sign or enjoyment. She could easily pick out at least four students in rows ahead of her that were already asleep, probably another eight that were fighting sleep. Venus leaned backward in her chair, she wasn't going to pretend that the history class was her favorite class ever but she had to love how nothing really changed going from high school to university. The same group of kids still continued to pass out as soon as the going got tough in class. In this case it seemed whenever the teacher opened his mouth but that seemed beyond the fact that Venus was starting to feel the itch to murder the man. He had to learn to call it enough or possibly pick a teaching style that actually taught his students instead of entice them to fail the class.
She could easily picture her lithe hands wrapping around the mans neck and with a gentle squeeze the color would drain from his face as he gasped for breath. Venus smirked slightly, he was a fragile old man and Venus didn't feel the slightest bit guilty as she imagined strangling him to death if it meant she could escape the class. The class ended in about four minutes, it was probably the only reason why she didn't leap across the large lecture hall to put her imagination into the current reality. She wanted nothing to do with history, she thought it would be an interesting elective but apparently listening to war veterans was not as exiting as she wanted it to be. Heaven forbid anyone who might know a lot about the past be lively. Her history class was quickly becoming her least favorite class.
The clock seemed to be mocking her as the second hand seemed to take forever to to make it's way around the clock. The professor was wrapping up the lecture but Venus had already packed her belongings up about ten minutes ago when she was ready to leave the boring class. It was bad when her favorite part of the class was watching the guy in front of her look up funny meme's on his laptop. It was even better when he snorted out loud, he clearly wasn't subtle about almost being a bad ass but she decided no one could actually pull off being cool if they admitted to taking a history class as an elective. Venus brushed a stray strand of hair from her face, the golden main seemed to cascade around her in loose waves. She jumped slightly when she heard the faint bell go off, it was quite loud when you get distracted.
Venus was off, she was easily pushing hordes of students out of the way to flee the classroom. She had another ten minutes to go across campus and get to her next class which always seemed to stress her out somehow. She knew she would get there just on time but as she walked outside into the rain she wished she could punch something. It figured that as she dashed into the cold rain that she would not be ready for such weather. "crap." She didn't even bother putting up her arms to try and save herself from the falling rain. She knew it would only make her look like an idiot and even better she knew it would slow her down meaning she would get more drenched. She let her arms pump by her sides as she ran across the cement sidewalk neatly dodging groups of people, many of which were in the same situation she was in.
She saw her building and didn't waste time as she hide within the masses of people entering the building. Always a good sign as it meant she wasn't late. Although people seemed to take forever filtering into the lecture room she found herself quickly climing the steps to about mid room. Usually she enjoyed closer tot he front but all the seats had already been taken up by eager students wanting to get their free sense of thought beaten out of them. With a slight smirk on her face Venus took a seat next to a random stranger. It wasn't unusual to sit next to people you didn't know but she still found herself feeling slightly odd as she hated being the spineless person who invades someone else's space. Don't get her wrong, she isn't afraid to say rude things to them across the room but she simply hated being that jackass that sits next to you when you are sitting alone. With a slight sigh Venus sat down and started to unpack her laptop to ready herself for the class. She wasn't exited for it to be only lunch and to be forced into another classroom.
