Eons ago, back when Gods still roamed the earth and humans were not the ruling race a giant war broke out. The reason for the war was long forgotten as was the gods presence on the earth. The gods had become divided, depending on other gods with the same attributes. Five distinct sides had emerged; fire, water, earth, air and spirit. The immortal gods could not win the war, no one could. Civil blood was spilt and clean hands became unclean as the call of battle ripples onto the god's followers. Brother turned on mother and father turned on sister. The war may have been strenuous on the gods but it was the humans blood that stained the soil for centuries. Decades passed and then centuries. Battle became a constant sound as gods clashed against one another in desperate fights. The war would have continued forever if it hadn't have been for the great evil. It's true name has been long forgotten along with the outcome of the war. The gods joined sides to fight the common threat, the ancient evil was sealed away as long as the gods had the strength to keep it from resurfacing. In modern day new york the ancient evil is resurfacing, the gods not able to contain it any longer. As faith in the gods have diminished over time the sins of mankind has given strength to this great evil. In a last ditch effort to stop this great evil the gods have gathered enough strength to awaken one human kin. The humans hold the power of their god within them but this power remains dormant within the godling. Evil is taking advantage of the gods current state of weakness. No godling is safe as the ancient evil hunts them down one by one in attempts to finally finish the long forgotten war. Can these mere civilians somehow come to terms with their godling potential of will they just be another kill for the great evil. Have the gods chosen the right godlings or have all hope been lost. Only fate knows the answers, welcome to reckless abandon
