You do not pick canons as roles are chosen for you. You do sign up as a civilian and based on Fate and certain events you may be awakened. Now don't ask to be awakened but we do take your characters request on which element they may get but it mostly based off of your characters personality and how you play them. This being said events are a great way to awaken your character. You know someone has been awakened by seeing their picture above names, roles where there is the generic picture you will know are unawakened as of yet. Characters are different in a lot of aspects as they may be at certain aspects of their awakening, some characters may only be claimed. Being claimed means that the character remains completely unchanged, they have no real powers yet, they may or may not have an increased power level and are usually oblivious to any miniscule changes they may encounter. A character may also be awakened. Being awakened means they are coming into their power, their power level will be increased and they usually have some form of power. It varies depending on how far along the character is as well as the capacity of that role. Most roles are unknown since things unfold as things go along. Little is known about all canons so far but things will be updated as things happenen around RA. 02 things to know Each element has four main canons; the godlings are in no way related and actually originate from different gods but have similar powers. There are other canon roles that your character may be awakened into but for now there are only these four per element. You may be awakened and only be told very little depending on the circumstances of your awakening. Remember I don't have all the time in the world so I will put up more canon roles as we go along and as they are awakened. This means when all the canon roles are filled you are not out of luck since there are some secret canon roles out there. Please do not beg for roles, being curious is more than welcome though and is highly encouraged! Ask questions and be sure to try to not die! 03 awakening Most characters are not awakened right away but first claimed, this is not always the case as some circumstances are different or abnormal. There is a long list of canon roles and we do take into account what role your character would fill the most, not only does this mean that characters are based off of their personalities but also on how they post with their characters. Half of the fun is letting your character develop and being awakened with elemental powers is always interesting to see roles played out. If a character is awakened please act how that character would act. Feel free to color outside the lines when it comes to knowledge as information posts will be added to awakened and claimed bios. These update posts will highlight any changes, this may be power wise or it may be memories. Please feel free to expand a little bit as your memories are as good as ours. Most highlights are generally rather broad so work with it. Character can be awakened through events (but not always) sometimes random events outside of event threads and sometimes through bizarre circumstances so beware of Fate!
